Your Remodel With S&K

1. Initial Phone Call

   You have a vision and we’re all ears!

2. Initial Consultation

   An S&K designer will schedule a consultation at your home to discuss the scope of your project. We will walk through the space, ask questions to understand your goals and discuss any ideas you already have. This is a chance to get to know each other and ensure we are on the same page regarding your vision, lifestyle, budget and timeline. Our designers will take measurements and gather other pertinent information about the space.

3. Conceptual Design

   After the initial consultation, our designers will create a conceptual design for your approval. This may involve floor plans, initial product selections and visual concepts to help you envision the finished space. For smaller projects, this step may be combined with the initial consultation. We will have an in-depth discussion about the proposed design to make sure it captures your needs and style. Revisions can be made until the conceptual design is approved.

4. Product Selection

   With a conceptual design in place, we will meet at S&K's working showroom to select finishes, fixtures, appliances, lighting and other products. Our showroom has fully operational displays which allow you to test out products. We also have access to additional local showrooms if needed. Our designer will guide the selection process based on your approved design. We will choose specific products while staying within budget.

5. Final Design Approval

   After finishes and products are selected, our designer will finalize the design plan and create detailed drawings. This will outline the complete project deliverables along with pricing for materials, labor and timeline.

6. Contract and Permits

   Once the quote is approved, we will execute a design contract outlining the project details, schedule and payment terms. Permits from the city will also be secured by S&K Remodeling.

7. Construction

   With permits in place, demolition and construction will begin according to the schedule. Our project manager will oversee each phase, keeping you updated on progress and any issues. We take pride in professional, clean construction practices.

8. Completion

   After construction is complete, we will walk through the finished space with you, address any final punch list items, review operating manuals for new products/systems and officially wrap up the project. We want to ensure total satisfaction before considering the project complete.
